Valencia CF and Circuit Ricardo Tormo share commitment to sport in Valencia region
Valencia CF and the Circuit Ricardo Tormo have come together in order to promote the return of spectators to sports facilities, with 100% capacity now permitted for the first since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. A collaboration agreement between the two entities will also promote the association between the club and motorsport fans.
The agreement was signed at the club's offices in a ceremony attended by Valencia CF executive director, Joey Lim. The Circuit Ricardo Tormo racetrack hosts the final round of the MotoGP World Championship season this weekend.
Gonzalo Gobert, director general of the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, highlighted the unity between two representatives of Valencian sport on a national and international stage.
“The synergy between both institutions is very powerful. Having fans in common and mutually supporting both entities makes us both grow.”

“Both football matches and motorcycle racing events are held in open-air venues and, as long as the protocols set out by the healthcare authorities are met, fans can attend without fear,” he said.
After a year and a half in which restrictions due to the pandemic have limited the presence of spectators at sports facilities, Mestalla can now welcome back the maximum number of fans. There will also be motorcycle aficionados at the Circuit Ricard Tormo this weekend, for the first time since 2019

United against ALS
Prior to signing this new agreement, Valencia CF and the Circuit Ricardo Tormo jointly participated in an initiative: The 'Valencian sport for ALS' campaign, led by the Fundación Luzón with the aim of giving visibility to people affected by this disease, raising awareness and raising funds for research.
